In this webinar, paediatric speech pathologist Margaret Burgess from Total Communication Speech Pathology explains how communication develops during the first two years of life — from the early prelinguistic  skills that emerge before words, through to first words and early word combinations.
 
You’ll learn about the key pre-linguistic foundations for language, including intentionality, looking & listening,  joint attention, imitation, turn-taking, gestures and how these skills support the development of babble, jargon  and eventually spoken language.
