Platform and Dual Control of the Mouse

  • I like to use Zoom® for my speech therapy sessions. One of the reasons for this is that this platform allows dual control of the mouse so that the child can play games interactively with you.

  • Its important that an adult is sitting with the child for the entire session. Most importantly, so that they can see what we are targeting for home practice but also to help out with tech set up if needed.

  • How to set up your computer for Dual Control of the mouse:

  • While screen sharing, click Remote Control and select the participant you want to give control to. The participant will be notified they can control your screen and can click anywhere on the shared screen to start control.
